Walk Ins will start half an hour before the start time and the last walk in will need to arrive 45 minutes before the end of the clinic. The Service is free and confidential to everyone. Self-referrals, or referrals from any health care professional are welcome. When you attend this service you will first meet the receptionist, who will ask for your name, address, phone number, GP, and a few other details about you, this information will only be used if we need to contact you. Our computer system is completely separate from the systems used at your GP or at your local hospital therefore your information can only be accessed from within our service. A nurse or doctor, will take a detailed history from you, undertake an examination if appropriate and take specific tests to diagnose any sexually transmitted infection.
